QUICHE LORRAINE



Ingredients

For pie crust
Flour                               200gm
Butter                               100gm
Salt                                 A pinch
Cold water                       2-3tbsp

For filling
Egg                                  6 nos
Cream                             225ml
Milk                               475ml
Beef bacon                    200gm
Onion                              50gm
Button mushroom            150gm
Ground blackpepper       1tsp
Cayenne                          ½tsp

CARA PENYEDIAAN

For pie crust

  1. Mix together the flour and butter in the bowl. Rub it until became breadcrumbs.
  2. Add the egg yolk and water till the dough mix well.
  3. Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead lightly until smooth. Shape into a disc and place in the fridge for 30 minutes to rest.
  4. Roll it out and place it onto pie sheet-pan. Bake it for about 5 minute at 180℃, half cooked before put the filling.
For filling
  1. Dice onion and fry beef bacon till crispy. Chopped. Put it aside.
  2. Saute onion, button mushroom and oyster mushroom.
  3. Beat egg and add milk and cream. Season with salt pepper.
  4. Add the fry ingredient into milk mixture. 
  5. Pour the mixture into pie crust. 
  6. Bake for 30-40 minute at 180℃
